1. Adverb of Degree โดยปกติจะทำหน้าที่ขยายกริยา
แต่บางคำสามารถขยายคำคุณศัพท์ (Adjective) เพื่อเพิ่มหรือลดน้ำหนักของคำๆนั้น
เช่น
I totally disagree. I
can nearly swim.
2. คำบางคำสามารถอยู่หน้าประโยค
หน้ากริยาหลัก (Main Verb) หรือหลังประโยคก็ได้ เช่น
badly completely greatly
seriously strongly
totally
Mr Brooke strongly
criticized the Bank of England.
Completely, I disagree with John Taylor.
That argument doesn't convince me totally.
Some adverbs are mostly
used in front of the verb
